Arsenal and Liverpool are chasing FK Teplice striker Martin Fenin, according to the Italian press.Il Messaggero newspaper claims the Czech Republic international, who impressed in the Under 20 World Cup earlier this year, has caught the eye of Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Fenin has been linked with Werder Bremen, Espanyol and Lazio, but none of the clubs have met the requirements set out by Teplice director Frantisek Hrdlicka.
Pavel Zika, Fenin's agent, has hinted that Arsenal and Liverpool could be interested in a move for the 20-year-old, but he says the Premier League pair have yet to make contact with Teplice, who play in the Czech Republic.
"A lot of clubs want Martin," Zika told Il Messaggero.
"It is possible that these two want him as well, but neither Arsenal nor Liverpool have been in negotiations with us so far."
