Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has admitted he may be forced to quit the Gunners in a bid to play more first-team football.
The Danish striker has yet to start a Premier League game during two years at the north London club.
But following a successful loan spell during Birmingham City's promotion-winning Championship campaign last season, the 19-year-old is desperate to break into the first-team picture.
Bendtner has made three substitute appearances in the league this season, but has warned Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that he could be close to considering his options.
The former FC Copenhagen starlet currently finds himself behind Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor and Eduardo in the pecking order.
"It's obvious that I don't want to sit on the bench for two years," he said.
"There might be problems with my form in a few months, but I might also get more playing time.
"I will stay at Arsenal to fight for my chance and in case it doesn't work, I will join a different club permanently."
