Cesc Fabregas insists Arsenal's positive start to the season will count for nothing if they finish the season without success.
The young Gunners side have made an unbeaten start to their campaign and are surprising critics as they fly high in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
However, Arsenal have gone four years without a league title and have had to settle for runners up medals in the League Cup and Champions League in the past two seasons.
Fabregas, who has starred in Arsenal's stunning start, has admitted he will be devastated if he finishes another season empty-handed.
"We're enjoying our football and we're good to watch," Fabregas told the Daily Star.
Spirit
"But if, in the end, we don't win anything it will be a big shame.
"I believe we can win something because the spirit and togetherness is there. We are growing up and gaining experience.
"But I also say this is only the beginning of the season and if we think we've won something already, we're wrong.
"At this moment we can't think about winning titles.
"It was definitely important for us to start well this year. In the last couple of seasons we've been six points behind United and Chelsea after seven games.
"That was too much for us. Even if you have a great run afterwards, you're still too far away to catch the others up."
