Arsenal defender William Gallas has admitted that he is unsure of when he will make his return to the first-team.
The French international has been sidelined with a groin injury since he limped off in the second game of the season against Blackburn.
Despite losing their experienced centre-back, The Gunners have been in devastating form and currently top the Premier League.
No specifics
The former Chelsea man was expected to make his comeback in the clash against West Ham on Saturday, but he explained that he has not yet set an exact date for his return.
"I will be back but I don't know when. I don't want to set a target. We are top of the table, though, and playing well so I want to be part of it," he told the Daily Mail.
Gallas also spoke of his pain at missing out on Arsenal's previous six matches, and warned his team-mates of the tough test they face in their trip to Upton Park.
Emotional strain
"This is a difficult time for me. I'm very sad that I'm still injured and I have to be strong in my head," he added.
"This is my second injury I have had at Arsenal and sometimes you want to know why it is happening.
"I don't want to cry about it but when you work hard, and you feel the pain, it's difficult to accept.
"I will remind everyone how tough it is there (Upton Park). They beat us 1-0 at Upton Park last season."
