Arsenal are ready to reward young star Denilson with a new contract at Emirates Stadium.
The highly-rated midfielder is in line for a new improved contract after impressing Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The 19-year-old, who has yet to establish himself as a regular under Arsene Wenger, is regarded as one of the brightest prospects at the club.
Arsenal are now ready to tie down the Brazilian with a new improved contract and Denilson says he is happy with life at the club.
Review
"My contract is under review. I'm happy about that because Arsene Wenger signed me and he knows me," Denilson told the Sunday Mirror.
"I'll get more chances with him as manager."
Meanwhile, Arsenal skipper William Gallas is hoping to make his return to action next weekend against West Ham.
The French defender has been missing since the 1-1 draw at Blackburn in August with a groin problem.
Gallas is aiming to return to training next week and be available for next weekend's trip to Upton Park.
Getting better
"I am getting better but I am not sure exactly when I will be back," said Gallas.
"It is tough being out of the team but there is a great atmosphere at the training ground at the moment."
this young guy is pretty talented same type of player as fabregas...has great vision too...but needs more seasoning and confidence....he can be substitute for fabregas when fab is not available plus he is only 19 still young can sign an 8 year deal wif him then shiok liao
yeah has a vision like fabregas but only tt fabregas is better. he needs more games then he'll be a superb lad.
Yeah, many were still saying he's a flop etc. when he just arrived last season. Hope he don't suffer the South American jinx
