Robin van Persie today pleaded with boss Arsene Wenger not to tinker with Arsenal's starting eleven after their fantastic start to the season.
The Gunners have dropped just two points from their first five league games and enjoyed a fine Champions League victory over Sevilla on Wednesday night.
Wenger has hinted he will “bring in some fresh players” for tomorrow's clash with Derby but van Persie said: “The more you play together the better you are going to be. Personally I like the way it is now. What the boss has tried to do is play most times with the same team to get the confidence there.”
One man who is playing like a reborn figure is Mathieu Flamini, who is clear in what he brings to the Gunners.
He said: “The important thing for me is to win the ball and stay in front of the defence.”
