Cesc Fabregas insists the 'new-look' Arsenal are showing how good they can be.
The Spaniard has been imperious this season and is the focal point of the Gunners team - following the departure of former captain Thierry Henry to Barcelona in the summer.
Fabregas was again the lynchpin of the side on Wednesday evening, as Arsenal breezed past Sevilla to secure a 3-0 victory in their opening UEFA Champions League group clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger has warned his class of 2007 to not get carried away following their excellent start to the new season.
But Cesc does not see why they cannot keep improving.
"We have to go step by step," he said after the Sevilla victory.
"We are doing that at the moment and it's going well.
"This team is about the future."
