Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted that his side's aim is to fight for both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners have enjoyed a terrific start to the season, and currently sit top of the league, despite many critics writing them off before the campaign had even begun.
On Wednesday, Arsenal host a quality Sevilla side and Wenger reiterated his belief that his side can challenge on both fronts.
"Our target is to win the Premiership and if possible, the Champions League," he said.
Choice
Wenger explained that it would be impossible for him to choose between winning one competition or the other.
"That is like asking me 'would you like me to cut your right arm or your left arm?' I would always say I would like to keep both!" he said.
"It is difficult. You cannot choose in September - you choose, if you have to, in April."
Wenger also insisted that there is no guarantee that his side's excellent domestic form will carry over into Europe.
Good form
"We have started well, which was very important for a young team. Now we want to confirm that in the Champions League.
"But it is not a guarantee that because you are doing well in your own league that you can win the Champions League.
"Overall, you should get out of the group stage, and after that it is a cup competition, and then it is down to the injuries you have at the moment you play the direct knockout."
