Cesc Fabregas has revealed that the Gunners are out to make up for losing the 2006 UEFA Champions League final after Arsenal progressed to the group stages with a 5-0 aggregate victory over Sparta Prague.
Tomas Rosicky, Fabregas and Eduardo Da Silva all scored in a 3-0 second-leg victory over the Czech champions at Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger's men lost to two late goals in the Paris final against Barcelona but the Spaniard has explained that this year his side are determined to go one better.
"We want to go to the end - the same as we did two years ago but winning it this time," Fabregas told ITV4.
"The Champions League is one of the best competitions for a player, together with the championship and these would be our top targets."
"I think it was really important to score the first goal early and take the pressure out and it is good to see a player from midfield again like Tomas (Rosicky) scoring."
Yes,I believe arsenal can do it! If there's a will,there's a way!
