Chapter 1: Ah Teck puts up a sign.
My name is Tan Ah Teck and I am an honest man.
Last night the tree gave in. (Sort of)
Ah Teck simply refuses to help the tree if it doesnÂ’t make it clear to the residents that it is not a magic tree. (Three cheers for Ah Teck!)
Really the tree doesnÂ’t stand a chance because Ah Teck is the ONLY person that is able to communicate with it. The tree actually did try to go into Paul's head, supposedly the wisest man around this area, but all it can see in his head are nude women and sexy panties.
So early this morning, Ah Teck happily put a sign that says:
1) I am not a magic tree but since you believe I am, so be it.
2) If you want to pray to me for 4D numbers be prepare to lose money.
3) Only 1 out of 25 of you will win something, 66.6% guaranteed. (Er I thought it was 90%?)
4) If you win money it is because I am a kind and clever tree but if you lose money that is not my problem. It is your problem. You are unlucky as simple as that.
5) Do not touch me, I canÂ’t stand being touch and besides, I am untouchable. I am high and mighty up here and you are low and weak down there just like Ah Teck.
6) Although I am the one with the numbers but if you got any problems donÂ’t come to me. Ask Ah Teck. He is my spokesman in the frontline.
7) If you DO win some money, please donate some to charities. The more the merrier. But donÂ’t give them to Ah Teck, he canÂ’t think for himself and will spend them on yucky instant-noodles.
8.) DonÂ’t gather around me I will call the police.
9) I am only free once a week. If you need 4D numbers when I am not free this is not my fucking problem. Better still, see Ah Teck.
10) Lastly if you are not happy then go and find another tree to pray. See if I fucking care you quitters!
Ah Teck was really very happy when he put up that sign in front of the tree this morning. He saw his name mentioned a few times. He is really proud of himself.

I am a talking tree and I am inhuman. If you win money it is because I am a kind and clever tree but if you lose money you are simply unlucky as simple as that.
