Okay, as the topic title says, I'm leaving for Thailand with my church for a mission trip tomorrow afternoon, and I won't be back until the 28th, which is next Thursday.
We'll be visiting many schools and orphanges, but unfortunately I'm suddenly dreading going, especially after the bad experience at church today when we were finishing up everything (packing, practices, etc.). I ended up getting pissed at 3/4 of my church, because it seems like I'm always more than willing to help out people, but when it's the other way round, no one can be bothered about me. To put it bluntly, pratically no one in my church cares about me at all.
What really upsetted me was that today after we finished up around 6pm, it was still raining so I decided to run to the train station, and as I approached the traffic light, there were 3 other girls from my church all seeking shelter under one umbrella. They saw me coming, but when I reached them they just turned their heads around and pretended as if they didn't see me, probably hoping I'd walk on by. I just went near them and said "You can quit pretending you didn't see me", then stood in front of them, while still getting drenched by the rain. Then one of the girls gave a very safe comment; she just said "Err, you know, it's raining right now. Why don't you stand here until the traffic light changes?". I just replied back to them "You obviously don't want me around, so just quit pretending to be nice." Unfortunately, the worst part is that I'm nice to all 3 of these girls, and especially nice to 1 of them, but this is how they treat me in the end, and this is just one example of majority of my church.
Anyway, I'm done complaining about them. Just going to pray that the next week would hopefully be enjoyable. Besides that, Merry Christmas to you guys. Your rock more than most of the people at my church.

Love you all,
Jenn
