ARE KL BEGGARS DRUGGING THEIR CHILDREN?

KUALA Lumpur's Bukit Bintang has become a beggars haven.
A group of beggars, with a few toddlers, turn up at designated hours. But unlike toddlers who are little bundles of energy, these kids often sleep for long hours on their parents' laps, reported Guang Ming Daily.
A team from the newspaper who investigated as to why the children were so quiet are not sure whether the beggars are feeding the children sleeping pills.
The team noticed that at mealtimes, the parents whip out a packed lunch or a milk bottle.
The groggy kids never cry or fuss.
Passers-by often give the children money.
After the meal, the children climb into the adult beggar's lap and sleep for two hours exactly, despite the surrounding din.
Then the adult would wake up the child and take a cab to a new spot to beg.
Guang Ming Daily's team found that the beggars only stayed at one spot for two hours.
If they suspected that they are being monitored, they would move to new spot. -

bt oso cannot sia. they die, the kids have high chance of starving and dying in the streets.. tough sia.
