SINGAPORE : Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers arrested five suspected drug offenders on Wednesday and seized drugs worth over $18,000 in street value.
The drugs seized included 52.66 grammes of ketamine, 57.47 grammes of 'Ice', 3.6 grammes of cannabis, 50 1/2 'Ecstasy' tablets and 48 'Erimin-5' tablets.
The suspected traffickers are a 28-year-old unemployed Singaporean and his supplier - a 22-year-old unemployed Malaysian.
Both will face a minimum sentence of five years' imprisonment and five strokes of cane if convicted.
CNB officers also arrested three other Singaporeans believed to be clients of the 28-year-old.
