  Also known as white, smack, junk, powder, putih, medicine or ubat
  
  Heroin is a powerful and highly addictive drug that comes in grains, powder or liquid. A common way to consume Heroin is known as "Chasing the Dragon".
  
  Withdrawal symptoms associated with the consumption of Heroin include aches and spasms, stomach cramps, vomiting, runny nose, watery eyes, loss of appetite and loss of body fluids.
  
  Drug Fact
  Opiates such as heroin come from the poppy plant. With colourful flowers & seeds, the poppy plant may look harmless and pleasing to the eye, but it is also the main ingredient from which drugs such as heroin, opium & morphine are produced. Poppy plants are also considered to be illegal in Singapore.
  
  Penalties
  
  Illegal traffic, import or export of heroin of more than 15 grams - DEATH.
  
  Possession and consumption of heroin - up to S$20,000 fine or 10 years imprisonment or BOTH.

  uhh.. over 15gms = death
  
  things like poppy seeds or kaskas, used as spice, is also illegal in Singapore but not in Malaysia where it is used in curries...
  
  if you take poppy seed in things as mundane as curry or a bagel, you will test positive for opiates... a false positive...
  
  also, a few people in history were users of heroin and they were functional, the only thing that separated them from normal people was that they needed their daily fix... an example was the writer William S Burroughs

  I remember I attended SANA course during my CCA years
  
  got this CNB officer showed us a picture of a man injecting some drugs..don't know whether it is heroin or ice..into his pubic area

  For wat i noe Heroin can be injected but not ICE. correct me if i wrong. Thx!

  but anyway for both cases heroin and ice..the effects are definitely nasty
  
  glue-sniffing too..saw some before and after pictures of people who glue-sniffed..really put me in awe
