hi guys. im having problem with my sager NP8690..
Got it last year august.
Problem: whenever i boot up my laptop, it'll shutdown WHEN windows is loading. it'll take 5 - 6 times boot ups to finally get it into windows. And after that it'll be fine. This started ard 3weeks back.
I've tried reslotting RAM, reinstall/format windows, took out fans to clean, scan with spybot n antiviruses. Still no clue of what happened..
Anyone face this issue before?

ATI 5870 1024MB

Doesn't boot properly.... Hmm...
I'm no expert in this area...
1) any major installation of software recently?
2) any accident happen to the equipment like accidentally hard knocking
3) does it feels hot while the laptop is on? I.e. poor ventilation
motherboard problem. go to your trusted repairer see if can change the chipset.
Faulty Motherboard. Don't think they allow 1 to 1 exchange since it past 2 weeks already?

Hi,
I suggest you to use the last know configuration, while window going to boot then press F8 and then you choose the following ;
"LAST GOOD CONFIGURATION THAT WINDOW HAS WORKED ".
if problem still exists the restore the window or remove last software installed.
also tightly plug your RAM.
Re-seat your RAM, check hard drive connections and re-install Windows.

normally is hardware problem, not software or configuration problem.
most likely will be ram or motherboard, sometimes maybe other hardware also
