The woodcutters and the rabbits

Once upon a time in a not so far away land was a small forest.
There were not so many trees and lots of rabbits living in this forest.
Living in this forest was one good woodcutter.
One day he discovered a dead rabbit under a tree. He happily took the
rabbit home and his family was pleased. Then the next day instead of
cutting wood he walked the forest and found a few more dead rabbits under the trees.
Being a smart woodcutter, he observed that the rabbits in this forest
had a bad habit. These stupid rabbits had bad habits of running full
speed without looking. Too bad they hit the trees.
The woodcutter decided not to cut tree as rabbit skins and meats were
easy and more valuable resources. For the next 40 years he grew fat
and rich. Another wood cutter found this virgin forest and try to cut
trees. The old woodcutter told him about the rabbits and he got a
better idea. Why not have more trees! So both woodcutters started to
planting more trees and more of these stupid rabbits rammed into them.
They got so much richer and fatter.
Suddenly the population of these stupid rabbits drastically because they
are not reproducing fast enough for the two woodcutters cunning plan.
The old woodcutter son being outshone by the other woodcutters wasn't
happy and try to find a solution. He said why don't we take more rabbits
from another forest and boost the population so we can have more good years!
All the three woodcutters agreed and start taking some foreign rabbits.
Alas those foreign rabbits started to mixed and there are lesser and
lesser stupid rabbits around. That's because foreign rabbits don't speed
blindly! Some stupid rabbits still rammed the trees, the income of the
woodcutters dropped more drastically. The three woodcutters were too fat and
lazy to do woodcutting and started blaming the rabbits for not being stupid
as before.
What is the moral of the story?
DON'T BE A STUPID RABBIT. -
