Hi all! I'm a student considering whether to enter UTAS, the campus in Hobart.
Before I make my decision, I'd like to find out more from any one of you who've lived there for a considerable number of years. My questions are as follows:
(a) Is it a good foundation area for someone who's never lived outside of Singapore? I've been there a few times during my holidays, but never really experienced what it's like to actually live there.
(b) Does it feel very heavily populated?
I have another few questions which are more related to UTAS itself:
(a) What are the alternative accommodations apart from on-campus ones? Because it's fully booked as of now, and the waiting list has been from Nov 2011.
(b) Anyone else going there straight after taking your A levels/poly?
Thank you so much!
Hi there! I lived in tasmania for 3 years and all I can tell you is enjoy! Because in Hobart, during 6pm and 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the main CBD area total nudity is unprohibited and the streets are filled with nudists. It is pretty cool and I have done it before.
You're a big joke.
Go for it
u won't regret for sure
u'll only regret if u stay in sg for the rest of your life
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
If you're an adaptable, open-minded and academically-inclined individual, there's no reason for you to not benefit from studying overseas, even if it's your first time living abroad. Go for it, and good luck!
I think you would already be in Australia by now.. Tassie as you may now know not as populated .. it's cooler and people are friendly..
Do let us know how everything go! Good luck!
