Anyone knows exactly what happened?
Stations after Douby Ghaut to HabourFront were closed... And only 1 side of the train's platform in Douby Ghaut is used.. -

NEL train system is driverless and far more complexed and sophiscated as compared to the conventional ones seen on SMRT Trains. I ever read in the Straits Times that there are over 500 different computer softwares and programmes to operate the NEL. and i think this type of technology is still comparatively new. got how many train systems in throughout the world is fully computerised and driverless?
its already a good try to such train new train system. as they learn from their mistakes, i believe train management will improve over the coming years, and possibly serve as role model or advisor to foreign train operators. -

NEL train services resume
SINGAPORE : Rail services on the Northeast Line (NEL) have resumed.
Earlier Friday, services from Harbour Front to Dhoby Ghaut were disrupted following a power trip.
This occurred at about 8.45pm and commuters were told to use the free shuttle services provided.
By 10.30pm, services from Harbour Front to Clarke Quay resumed and about an hour later, the entire line was operating again.
SBS Transit says it is still investigating what caused the power trip. -
SBS Transit is currently working hard on both its buses and trains.
That's a good sign.

i still rmb the incident of 'National Library' where it has already shifted to its new place, its still showing 'National Library' at the old library(bus stop).
i not sure for now though... -
