  FIY>>>(For those who are going to the SMRT open house)
  
  Pay $15 for the guided tour at NS16 Ang Mo Kio Control Office before boarding the shuttle train.
  
  The guided tour will start at
  
  The first charted train to the depot leaves NS16 Ang Mo Kio at 8 am and thereafter every 20 minutes interval.

  I happened to pass by ang mo kio today so took the free shuttle for joyride (No time for the guided tour), Run number 188 (Kawasaki Black train) then the train only run number 188's doors opened but run number 189 (Or is it 187?) the doors never open
  Anyone got pics of the guided tour or pics taken inside the depot? Gladly appreciate if you all post, anyway, nice pics novawin

  I went to the open house, and also the guided tour, and took tons of photos. Will try and post them up but I do not have a photo hosting website account. Which file hosting company should I apply for one ?

  I never went for guided tour cos it need me to pay $15 so that's why I did not go for guided tour to take photo.
  
  I am wondering what's inside the guided tour? Got to see the train refurbishment process in action?
  
  Can't wait for someone to post the photo of guided tour.

  i saw 003/004 and 015/016 were refurbishment.

  Can anybody confirm if X07/X08 ( 007/008 or 107/108 ) is being refurbished or not? I saw it when I was in the train passing the depot. There is a fan stand at the end of carriage. But I could not glance at the car number clearly as my train was moving constantly.

  yes, go for photobucket.
  
  Anyway, IMO, it shud be ok to post pics in the 'restricted' area since they allowed u to take pics in the 1st place.

  003/004, 007/008, 015/016 and 021/022 are currently undergoing refurbishment. 035/036 has been out in operation since the past week.

  Well, Hello at first, since it's my first time here.
  
  I've been to the Open House and it was great seeing trains being refurbished. I only tracked 4 trains being refurbished: 3003-3004(released by March), 3007-3008(released April), 3021-3022(probably released this month) and 3023-3024.
