nope. no retching. no acid brash. unless i hiccup really violently.Originally posted by renorenal:Ergonomics means your posture
Retching means the action of vomiting, but no vomit comes out from the mouth... sometimes if done too excessively, a slight reflux of fluid from the stomach will pass through the esophagus into the mouth giving a salty taste (acidic) known as acid brash (this is the gastroesophageal reflux syndrome)...
Only in your left brain area? Headache? Tell me more about this headache...
This is typical of migraine...Originally posted by starblue:
nope. no retching. no acid brash. unless i hiccup really violently.usually the headache is a throbbing one, that starts from above the left eye area. then gradually grows to whole left brain. sometimes theres a splitting sensation in the middle of the top of the head. and it doesnt go away unless i go take a good long sleep. the record was a continuous buzzing for 12 hours....

Get your stomach checked... Do not just take Losec or other medications whereby ppl may tell you that it is good and can cure your stomach problems... I would be relieved if the doctors rule you out from gastritis... [/b]

Does the light or noises irritates you and brings on the headache?
Before suffering an episode of the headache, is your vision interrupted by zig zag lines, black spots or blurry vision?

what exactly causes migraines?? ion imbalance in the brain?? i once read that for minor headaches, you can try drinking those 100 plus kinda drinks cos they are meant to replenish your body with lost ions and stuff.... true not?Originally posted by renorenal:Usually the typical treatment is to sleep the headache off or to hide in a dark and silent room till the attack has passed by...
Avoid all the triggering factors like cheesy foods, wine, beer, fatty foods or foods high in proten, coffee, coke, tannin (tea) and well, there are more...
There is pitifully no treatment for migraine, except for symptomatic relief with analgesics (painkillers)...
