Been super lucky so far. 1st class honours is still possible, but highly unrealistic. I'll be really glad to graduate with a CAP above 4.0. -

they want me to do an Ethics paper...heck, i'll do better in Unethics and Fraudulent Practices paper
the other one is easy, i spotted the stuff to be studied

For some things, you have to work your way up over the semesters. If you want to know, I got 3.97 in Yr 1 Sem 1, and 4.05 in Yr 1 Sem 2. It all boils down to pure hard work and a wee bit of luck.
And I'll be frank with you: it's not really a bed of roses to continue trying to maintain good results all the way. As it is the pressure's on me to continue reemulating whatever I got in the preceding semesters and to show that all that was not just a flash in the pan. That's a pretty tall order as it is.
But yeah, I'm not complaining too loudly about it, either. If I can maintain my CAP all the way for the next four semesters then I'll graduate with a totally happy heart. If I don't, then it'll be sad, but I'll accept it.
Either way, I don't really want to think too much about it. Right now I want to focus on my MA3501 paper this Tuesday. It's all about taking things one step at a time.

Aiya at the end of the day, the most important thing is your attitude... I heard of 2nd upper students going into companies thinking they are big fark then end up underperforming and eventually losing out to those with poorer grades but excellent work attitude -

For all the things that you learn in the lecture theater, for all the labs and tutorials that you have to sweat through, for all the endless hours of mugging at the Central Library.... it isn't a true reflection of working life.
Of course you should strive for good grades. But the more important thing is how you live your life and whether you live it to the fullest. -
