That is so much worse, because he thinks that there is a way to play in a way that he can end up "in the black" like dragg asked you.
Instead of recognising tha gambling is like watching a movie, you pay for the ticket, watch the movie than do you ask the cinema to pay you back for the ticket? You think the gambling operators are so stupid? The rules are theirs, the place is theirs, they have made all the calculations and have considered things that you did not even know you should consider. -

i lost more than 20k on stocks. since then i have stopped trading. -
Good example. So be careful. Budget the amount is correct. Lose control one day when you are depressed and tired and sick of everything is a possibility. So make sure that you have iron clad protection against that eventuality/possibility. We are humans. I am a human. I know; I know I am weak, I know I can change for the worse. I don't bother because I expect to lose and not expect to win. So sometimes I go all the way to the betting counter and after I write the numbers, I decide how much I want to lose; I tear away the stupid betting slip and walk away. Why ask yourself how much you want to lose? Sometimes just for the fun of it I look at the results. 99.9% of the times, I would have lost and I consider that a win because i didn't bet. Even if they do not lose it all back in the world cup matches, they lose it all back in the EPL for example.
