Here I am at Vantaa Airport, where I'll be spending my last few hours in Finland. It was a soggy day, but the rain was more like a spray falling slowly to earth. I was the first to weep when it was time to part this morning
It felt as if a big part of me was ripped out.
Still feeling a little lost without my sweety, I took a walk around the city. The soup buffet at the Fazer chocolate cafe was good value-for-money. A long jaunt to the Sibelius monument about 3km away followed but it was worthwhile.
On the way back I stopped at the National Museum for a tour. I admit it gave me the creeps especially when I was alone in a gallery viewing what once belonged to someone else...or was taken from his grave!
I searched for a while for my last meal...I was looking for a Hesburger outlet, and found one in the underground mall around the railway station. I avoided comparing cheeseburgers with McCrappers and ordered a pork-fillet-and-rye burger. The chips, though a little soggier, had more taste than an equally-soggy McChip. I bought some Aurun mustard from the supermarket too.
8 minutes to go on this terminal, and my flight leaves in about 2.5 hours. Speak to you in Singapore!
Thank you for the chocolate,
musi. I still miss you.
