Hi mates
I'm in the transit lounge of Changi's Terminal 1. These will the last moments of 2006 that I'm spending in Singapore.
I'm heading to Helsinki via Bangkok (1 hour stopover). I'll keep you updated about what kikq and I are up to when I can via the blog in my signature.

I arrived about 1.5 hours ago. The sun´s not expected to rise until 9.30*. I´m killing time at the airport while waiting for the bus to the city, which leaves at 10.40...
I´m still trying to get used to this keyboard,which has the characters ´ö´,´å´´and ´ä´. The commas, collons and hyphens are in different places too.
I had the entire row by the window to myself throughout the trip.
90% of the passengers who boarded with me disembarked in Bangkok, and not too many new passengers boarded there. The food was alright, flavourful and warm save for the dinner rolls (they´ve always been rubbish on board the flights I´ve taken) I made a few new friends along the way as well.
I still have 20 minutes to go on this terminal...speak to you again soon!

Oh, by the way it's not snowing outside. There's only some ice on the pavement and the cars and that's about it. I hope we get snow of the former soon, or at least when we head north over the weekend.
And being Christmas Day the airport's a bit of a dead town too. Very little human traffic around...hence the long wait for my bus. -

Good afternoon!
I've finally found the internet terminal in the hostel. Kikq arrived via the ferry on Monday evening, and there's chemistry between us She is everything I expected and wanted.
We've been walking around Helsinki. Most of the museums and shops were closed over the last 2 days, and the fish market's deserted, but we don't really care We'll be back in this city on Friday and next Tuesday - we're checking out and heading for Turku today. Oh, and there's still no snow - only rain in the small hours and plenty of icy winds.
Had a bout food poisoning last night after eating at one of the Tex-Mex fast food outlets. I still had a headache and nausea when I woke up this morning but I'm feeling a little better now - more oranges for breakfast did the trick. I'm glad I have her by my side... though my hurling scared her she took good care of me throughout the night. The radiator hasn't been working at night too 
and that gives us the chance to warm each other's hands and feet.
Wish I had the chance to use the freee morning sauna, but my sickness dashed those hopes. There should be one at our next destination anyway.
