  Valentino Rossi wins the French GP and sets a new lap record on the next to last lap. That guy is phenomenal.

  The Laguna Seca track which hosted the USA GP is phenomal! The climbs and drops are breath-taking, especially that Corkscrew turn!
  
  Nicky Hayden took his maiden MotoGP on home soil and was followed home by Colin Edwards, another home hero. World Championship leader Valentino Rossi crossed the line in third place.

  Today, Valentino Rossi made history when he won the German Grand Prix at the Saschenring and equalled Mike Hailwood's all time record of 76 victories. And he still is still only in his twenties!

  After crashing out at Motegi and finishing second at Sepang, the world champion Rossi is back to winning ways in Qatar. It wasn't as if Marco MElandri didn't give him a hard time though.
