What do you like or dislike about the different airlines and aeroplane types you have flown with, including budget flights? (Apart from the food which we all agree is dreadful
)
My takes: BA and Qantas had very nice kiddy packs when I was small and hopefully they still do*.
And SIA usually run out of decks of playing cards...either they don't stock up a lot or they are very popular with the passengers. 
*P.S. It was a code-sharing plane. -
I hate BA, the staff were very rude back in 1992
Since then I have never travelled with BA.
Otherwise the other airlines I have travelled on were not too bad. -
BA, UNITED, AEROFLOT & GARUDA SUCKS BIG TIME ! I will never fly those airlines ever again !
I've got a liking for Thai Airways, Korean Air, lufthansa & Emeriats. -
Nothing beats SQ.... when i was younger, mum was working with SATS(still is) We were travelling on complimentry tickets... But on one of the return flight, the economy section was full. But they offered us 1st class seats(foc) as the tickets were foc, we didn't dare ask for anything(inflight services) But the chio stewardess told us dun paisay, as long as anyone who's sitting in 1st class seats, no matter foc or what, they still treat u like any other paid passengers n told us to just make ourself comfortable n that made our journey a pleasent one

Inflight entertainment-wise, SQ still the best. 30 channels to select from and all on AVOD (Audio Video on-demand - i.e. can start and pause as you like). You never get bore on SQ flight.
Price and convinence-wise, nothing beats the LCC (Low cost carriers), just book online in the morning and fly in the afternoon. Hassle free travel at low cost . Problem - you got to find your own entertainment.
Other than that, rest are similar. Experience can be different if you happen to fly in different aircraft type and different seasons or if you are flying short distance or long distance. -

Singapore Airlines is way way OVERRATED . What so darn good about SQ ? They are just a normal airline like others like Emirates, JApan airlines, Qantas or British Airways. They have a lot of entertainment in their system.,Emirates , have more in fact. SQ's service is pretty good but I find some of their service very robotic like but what I really dislike about SQ is the management. The removal of the jubilee, megatop and Leadership titles really disappoints me. A lot of people gave me their different versions... ooo well .... the conditions of their special airfares that puts me off..... A lot of publicty of SQ which However I will still support them but I feel there are other good airlines if not better then SQ.
My favourite airlines is Emirates and Japan Airlines. Flew on them a numerous of times , have nothing but praise the service and entertainment system. Both airlines have the outside camera where u can see take off and landing shots which is great from a passenger point of view.
I always choose the airline and aircraft type... My favourite aircrafts to fly on are Boeing 777 , Airbus 330 and Boeing 747-400. However, there are some nice birds I flew on and perhaps wont get to fly again , they are Boeing 727 and Lockhead L1011. Call me fussy but that what I am .... My next target is to fly the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 , the only airline that is flying to Singapore is Finnair ! Might fly to Bangkok just for the ride !!

I enjoy cathy pacific flight but the price u pay can take SIA liao...
SIA also not bad for the packed toiletries, their toothbrush comes with colgate and toohbrush got cover so can keep for long term use so no need to dispose off immediately.
I like Luthusa too, they have those packed toiletries, eye mask and socks for long flight. their shower form and shampoo is from crabtreen & evelyn

For wine, Qantas gives you small bottles rather than pouring.
And they are good Aussie wine.
They also have individual screens now for every passanger, ie. Audio Video On-Demand, you can start and pause as you like. There are more movies for you to choose from than SQ flights.
But their frequent flyer membership is about A$100 to join.
Whereas KrisFlyer is free.
Competition is keen these days for SQ. -

All Nippon Airways is very similar to Japan Airlines. Very good also. Try it! -

The services frm SIA is ok, jus tat they serve tos angmoh damn gd @#$%^&, remember we oso pay the same fare as them !!!
I once took Emirates airline. The service frm Sg to Dubai is quite terrible. One stewardness actually placed her luggage in the passenger cabin. My frd is unable to place hers so she made a complaint. Then hor, she kena told off by the captain tat her travel bag is too big for the cabin size, wat the hell !!! Then my frds bu shuan, purposely call for ser vices for water n card n so on, hahaha...however, the flight frm Dubai to London is ok.
Korean airline is so-so lor..can't expect much. No individual tv lor, abot boring... -

I also remember seeing an EVA-Air MD-11 - or maybe it was a DC-10. I cannot remember if it had winglets on the wingtips. A model of a KLM MD-11 sits on top of my cupboard. -
