  For newbie, is it necessary to get a standalone GPS? Any reliable brands? Or is google map good enough?

  Standalone ones like Garmin (model Nuvi 57LM) might not be  as flexible as the Waze app. You cannot simply jump from for example and road name to a building name without changing the category. There's no such problem with the Waze app but saying that Garmin GPS does have clearer instructions with actual photos showing which lanes to stick to. By the way I am a fan of Pandanchen that's why I called myself Pandanleaf.

  Just use a normal HP google map can already lah, or streetdirectory, now if you drive comfort, MDT also become GPS liao, very good for hanging kopi too

  Standalone GPS outdated liao and take up extra space. Now smartphone with GPS mapping apps like waze easy to use to find address, map mostly up-to-date and also with users feedback (traffic jam, police spotted, road harzard etc.) The standalone GPS device I also forgot when I last use it...

  Can have two destinations when choosing grabtaxi ? Any additional charge? Grab apps dun seem to allow choosing two different destinations

  Took a Grabcall from Tamp St 11 to Raffles Hospital. Caller called my mobile saying husband in trouble and cannot make it and asked me to hurry. Cannot make it should call ambulance, not a Grab Taxi with promo. Call was cancelled in the end. Most likely a prank booking?
