Hi, I'm a resident of Bendemeer and my name is Bendeecat.
On 27/11/11, around 10am, I was found at on the ground of Blk 31 Bendemeer Road, Block 31, bleeding badly. Blood spatter was spotted approx 2m away from bicycle.
(Special thanks to Benjamin & Melvyn for checking on the cat on my behalf, Amy and Jenny for rushing down to collect the cat from SPCA & the Lillian the caregiver of Bendemeer as well as the many many good souls who have sent good energies and support to the cat!)

Apologies for a late update today.
Bendee has yet to eat today.
Attempted all kinds of food, ranging from "fancy feast" to "AD" but failed. Attempted to give him the injection for gastric failed too! We have stopped all his medication with the vet's approval. We definitely want to minimize any further stress.
It pains us to hear him cry softly when he threw up.
It pains us to know that he's hungry but not wanting food.
It pains to see him feeling sad.
After some consideration, an appointment has been made with the vet tomorrow morning. As of now, we think hospitalization would be the best for him, so necessary drips, care, nutrients can be given to him to get him pass this stage.
We would like to admit him to Animal Recovery Center (ARC) instead. A non-stressful environment (cats housed separately from dogs), having a night nurse on duty and a hospital culture that welcomes alternative medication & treatments such as Bach Flower Remedy & Homeopathy.
For those who are familiar with ARC, they are not exactly cheap. Hospitalization will require a S$1000 deposit. As of now (22/12/11) we are currently at a deficit of S$228.80. We believe we will easily hit a deficit of S$800 by tomorrow.
Poor Bendeecat has been through a lot. We believe everyone who loves Bendeecat wants him to be well soon. Please help pass the message around, so more can come forward to help with his medical bills.

(We would be posting an update on the current account status over the weekend. Please be patient with us as we try our best to update on Bendeecat's condition as well as the accounts (on weekly basis) as often as we can.)

FAQ:
1) What would the funds be used for:
The fund received through donations will go into paying for Bendeecat's medical bills. This would include X-rays, surgeries, medicines, hospitalization fee, consultations, transportation, food and all necessary materials required for his recovery. (Recovery period ends when Bendeecat is ready to be re-homed)
All items receipts will be posted online upon closing of the donation box.2) What will happen should there be a surplus after Bendeecat has recover?
We would proposed for the balance of the fund to be donated to other injured animals that may have suffer a similar fate as Bendeecat. The balance of the fund can also go to donation drives from the open appeals such as on Facebook, Cat Welfare Society, Metta Cats, Blessing homes etc. (Detailed information such as amount & beneficiaries will be announced.)
Rest assured that the funds & love received will be well respected and handled wisely.

Tolong tolong~~~
Remember to donate before Christmas ok?
Otherwise Santa Claus won't give you any pressies.
so cute wor
poor cat......
hope he recover.
acid , nice picture
what did the vets say about the cat?
He's suffering from fractures and infection, but is recovering.
Nonetheless, expect the the hospitalization bill to come up to quite a hefty sum. And of course, the usual costs of caring for a (healthy) animal... food and all.
