In many respects, this case mirrors that of United Way of America, the world's largest charity.
In 1992, its president William Aramony was forced to resign for his spending habits and management style. Following investigations, he was sentenced to seven years in prison and lost his pension.

In February 1992, William Aramony, president and CEO of United Way of America (UWA) resigned under allegations that he conspired to defraud UWA and its spin-off companies. In 1995, Mr. Aramony was convicted in U.S. District Court in Virginia of various counts; conspiracy, fraud, and filing false tax returns. He was sentenced to 84 months in prison, which ended on October 1, 2001. He was also sentenced to serve three years of supervised release following the expiration of his term and fined $300,000.

maybe we have to accept that the pay and perks of a ceo behind such a big organization need to have a recognition amt of pay... big resposibilities big pay... wan the ceo to treat it a a full time job instead of a charity thing to go in and run it when he is available... but gold plated taps...omg..too much maybe..
