Responsibilities or Money???

me beri unhappy wif present company coz got many indian, pakistani & bangladeshi jiao lang there. n u knw their pattern lah.
went fer an interview in bf's company dat day. he said he oso hesitant to recommend me at 1st coz it's a beri junior post n he tink the pay beri low. but they paying bf beri well. he last held a more senior post, not so anymore but they stil pay him higher den last time.
i went anyway, coz i wasn't looking ard fer job duno no mood or lazy lah. but i wanted to get out of here. soon loh.
i eber told myself low pay nvm. anyting to get out frm here. me not hard up fer job. i can stay hm n slp nvm; i dun hab to support family. but i dunwan to be parasite. n me acherly luv werking. can't imagine hw life wud be if me hab nutin to do.
but the new job scope lealli beri lame, so lil tings to do. but me like to be bizi one loh. frds all say wah good wat, got pay stil so relaxed. but me not looking forward to a more relaxed job.
so... lame responsibilities cannot match up to my current pay.... they can only offer me sumting which is like more den 20% cut from my current drawing one.
they hab not got back to me say will call me on mon. but me is def gettin the job loh. coz dat ang mo asked my bf to sound me out, see ok anot. he oso told him me is qualified to do dat job but the job pays onli liddat. not dat he canot gimme more, he muz be fair to the others.
i fil like my few years here all gone to waste liddat... altho same industry, but me taking on sumting totally diff...

ah neh, i know lah, my office sibei many also...mechiam like little seragoon lit dat. some time the smell..... bo bian, earn a living...lan...lan...
by getting out of the current situation and going into another coy(which u dont lit)...isnt it the same.

steady lah...go and search for something you like and suit urself, or else u wont last long in this coy. -

Alamak, lame jobs are the pitsÂ… time passes soo slow.
I did a 'do nothing much all day and just wait for trouble than act' contract
for 2 loooong years. Cannot tahan, damn super sian, surf net until eyes turn square. In the end, harikiri and didnt renew contract. Much happier after that.
So my advise would be..
20% pay decrease no big deal, can make up over time with increments or added allowances.
Try not to go same company as your bf, difficult for u, difficult for him..watever u tink now it will be liddat.
Leave the present job with the aliens and go to a new company.
If you wanna go to bfÂ’s company first, go. Than see how n if not suitable than leave and go look for another job.
Jump in first, donÂ’t be scared to jump and if the farkin water too cold get out and jump into the next pool.
If you donÂ’t try, youÂ’ll never be happy and d aliens will always be on your ass. -
oh and if the job scope at the next company too lame
try to expand the job scope over time.
after u know the set-up better you will know how
to do that.

bonuses etc is equal or more to the other company's -

Well, u just have to weigh the pros and cons.
Do you desperately wanna get out the company ASAP?
If yes, do you have the time to look for another?
If yes, that you have some time to look for another job...then wait for the "right" job lah....since like u said u have no responsibility?
If no, answer same as above.
Any new job we go to is a RISK. Either we end up liking being there or not...it's up to u to try.
From what I analyse is that you might not wish to move though u keep saying that you wish to. Cos ur current job is ur comfort zone. (I felt like that too although I wished to get out but I finally gave it up for something else.) Cos of the pay and the job scope. Ur bf's company's job may not be what u want ideally...what maybe u might wish to do is (if u really wish to get out of the current job) is take that up first and look around. If not, stay with the current and quick look for another job. OR last but not least, just quit and then look for another job since u have no responsibility.
