quite a few oppurtunities la...
for example,
a SG based listed company opening a plant in TH
looking for full compliment of staff
German MNC opening in KL looking for full compliment of staff..
if willing to make d necessary sacrifices in terms of foreign place.
etc etc, prob is most Sinkapoleans don't wanna make these sacrifices
but I do see more n more Sinkapoleans working abroad so the situation is changing.

but be forewarned, working overseas can be a bummer
in d beginning it's ok but over a number of years it can be
a downer.. unless u marry a local ger or get a local gerfren
than its quite ok la. Most ppl (me excluded ) who work
overseas for a long stint of say 5 years or more get attached
to a local. 1 example.. last week I met a 32 yr old Sinkapolean
who worked in Jakarta for a few years, got hitched to a Indonesian
ger and now working in Bangkok. Everyone says he is on a permanent
honeymoon. So for him it's ok but if u have family/gr/wife at home in
Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, it's straining.
Oh and also, if working overseas working for a SG based company or
a company with many expats is better. I worked before in a firm where
I was d onli expat... hell.
