Seems like the HK media has stopped digging Cathay scandal le. Cos both have left.
Now it's ROC army has a lady MAJ posting her pics around.

Those kids managed to dig up the fella's email, handphone number, housing estate, the fact that he teaches at a JC, and so on.
I can't say I endorse what the EDMW kids are doing.
I gotta say, though, that if you're gonna post downright seditious posts online, at least don't be a idiot and post so many details about yourself...
I can't believe they dug up stuff he posted 10 years ago. He must now wish his wife never posted anything in the penny low thread. And penny low must now regret even bringing her handphone to the ndp.
Those kids at HWZ have nothing better to do but seriously they are really good at digging up dirt
LOL

She gets enough allowance to make up for the flak she receives though.

He's 34 years old now, and the seditious crap was posted when he was 23 years old.
It goes to show that what goes online stays online, and it can all come back someday to bite you in the ass.
On my part, I don't agree with sending him to jail for what he wrote, though it's not up to me as to whether or not he will be punished as such.
The way I see it, sending bigots to jail will only harden their bigoted viewpoints and make things worse. I would far rather educate and engage with them, as is the case with the Cook a Pot of Curry Day.

I think if everyone who posts such comments online is to be jailed, we'd need to build many more prisons to fit them all
In any case, being outed by the edmw fellas in this way is already going to have long term repercussions for him and his pinoy wife.

15k a month and multiple directorships? I don't think so
As much as I admit what he posted was totally tasteless and brainless, I think that the whole issue has been kinda blown out of proportion.
The thing is if in the first place it was posted by a Singaporean, I don't think most will give a rat's ass to it. But the thing was that everyone thought a Pinoy posted it which caused this hugeass eruption.
But seriously I wonder is he just trying to cover-up for his wife's mistake without thinking the consequences will be so huge or he is just a coward to have made those remarks using his wife's account like he said.
In any case, instead of 1 of them having to face shit for brainless comments, now both of them have to face the music

My attempt to guess what really happened:
gay sees thread on penny low and decided to support her.
gay remembers that being a teacher, it might not look good to post such comments using his account
gay decides to post as his wife. whether he told her he was going to do so is anyone's guess.
gay totally underestimated the shitstorm that will follow.

i think he's using his wife's account.

That's most probably true.
I guess he didn't realize that people could actually look at his wife's FB wall and find out her workplace. He certainly didn't count on NHC getting involved and disciplining her.
So, in remorse over the trouble he got his wife into, he dived straight into the sh*tstorm without considering that he might get into an even bigger sh*tstorm.
Seriously, he's looking at the very real possibility of jail time and the loss of his job. I expect that he will have a lot of sleepless nights in the days to come.
jail time ? ... for what ? ....
pissing off fellow singaporeans ? ....

not that. its the anti-muslim rants he made 10 yrs ago.
I seriously doubt he'd get jailtime for it though. Given that it was 10 years ago.

10 years ago must seem like yesterday on the internet. i wonder if there are anymore stuff coming out

For his sake, I hope not. He can explain the 10 year old comments as a young and stupid phase he went through. If they dig up similiar recent comments by him, he's screwed.
You know what
He sounds like one of those losers out there bitching about why SG girls suck in SGF and usually those people make those dumb comments about muslims and stuff like that
Ok I'm stereotyping here >.<"
I think after this incident, the gahmen service is going to come up with some seriously strict social media guidelines for civil servants

knowing how ham-fisted the idiots up high are, they'll probably try to ban everyone from going on social media
They should just ban stupidity :P

e.g. show me what you intend to post before you post? and going thru' 10 layers of bureaucracy?

maybe they'd include a social media account portion to the annual declarations that civil servants need to submit (e.g. investments, financial non-indebtedness )
