I shall put reviews on food I have here instead of the crapbox... :D
I went to Tarafuku @ 313 ytd for the first time... Ard $33 per pax on a weekday dinner...
U get a small hotpot to do shabu shabu and u can choose a selection of cook food as well... Typical japanese buffet fare
Food was okay, slightly above average... Sashimi was fresh, just that the cuts are abit wierd at certain pieces... The soft shell crab is super oily and soggy even if just fried -___- The miso fish and the braise pork and egg is excellent... Various desserts is good... The others like Teriyaki Ika is average... Sushi is not very well done, the rice falls off too easily... Yakitori meat was good, but they dun serve it with yakitori sauce, extremely wasted becoz it was just nicely done but without the sauce >___>
spread abit little when compared to places like kushin bo...
IMO, not worth the money... I would prefer suki sushi (the now Ishimura/nihonmura) at hougang plaza...
My turn:
Yesterday I had $13 worth of hawker food at chomp chomp.
It was good.
Very good.
Any questions?

zzz... At least post wat u ate, which stall, how was it >___>
I trying to generate views for your thread ma....
So I shall purposefully omit information to do just that.
First was poh pia....from one of the stalls. My friend bought that, but it tasted.....like pohpia (nothing special).
The stingray was good...one of the stall nearest to the road. Very nice gravy that was not overly spicy and very tasty.
Chicken wings and hokkien mee...no need say. Easily the nicest thing at chomp chomp. The ones near the toilet.
Rojak....tasted like rojak. Not worth mentioning.
Acid u should try the NAFA roti prata very nice.
Hmmm, apart from the Kushin Bo I had with some of the Club30 last friday, recently like also nv go where to eat...
I will be trying out Ban Heng Pavilion this week...
honjin > kuishinbo
honjin no try b4... but the review rike beri koyat >___>
I shall give it a try someday...
the std a bit not consistent lah.
but still abv avg
esp if u love thick slices of fresh sashimi
Kushinbo is over-rated for the price/service ... about S$45?? my last visit was many moons ago..
It's like makan in a marketplace when everybody rushed like refugees to get their food....Its far too noisy.
For that price, we could have decent food, seated n good ambience in other restaurants .. The staff I observed, has already turned to a bor-chap attitude since it's too crowded to take care for any customers liao..

do that anyways dood ! ..
Yes KB~ Unleash the food pics :D
Anyway, Ytd aborted my Ban Heng plans for this week. Instead I went over to ABC Market...
Ate Fatty Cheong Char Siew Rice... Fwah... The char siew still one of the best in singapore... But do note, they serve quite fatty char siew and roast meat at times, so if u're those type of ppl who squeal like a frightened mice when u see fatty stuff, plz specifically tell the boss that u wan a leaner cut...
I also had the duck this time... It's Good :D Though I ate there quite a few times, I nv had their duck b4... It's always the char siew that made me go back... But the duck is surprisingly nice... Had abit smokey flavour which is rather hard to find in roast duck... (Though I still think circular has better roast duck)...
Anyway, beside the shop is another shop which sells bread... Super oily (no idea why)... But when fresh from the oven, it's heaven... But I only had 2 becoz it's really super oily
as for pics, I got take la, but casual ones... Becoz I ate first then remembered that I shld take a pic... However, I think I upload next time... now at office no cables...
But then it wouldn't be YOUR nom-nom adventure.
Okay, I'll start making you hungry again with Yorkshire pudding filled with a Cumberland sausage, roasted vegetables and gravy:
ok, my turn, I had dinner at DTF@nex.
Steamed chicken soup with noodle combo.
A large basket of steamed pork dumplings.
Shanghai drunken chicken.
I don't have to keep repeating how awesome that place is, it just is.
@KB: I just had lunch but tat looks awesome... Now I'm hungry
@Ditzy: I had DTF @ other outlets b4 but they were quite disappointing... Nv tried DTF@Nex b4... maybe nex outlet better quality...
had my dinner in Ubud last week for Nuri's grilled pork ribs.

It's okay, you can have this for tea, right? A pot of tea, a chocolate scone, Nutella and clotted cream (anyone who calls it whipped cream will be beaten with a stick)
Oh ya, you have your office warming to attend.
Its not whipped cream to me....it looks like um...planta?

Can can... I do take a nice pot of english tea (Highly depends, I do not have likely for some of the types of black tea)...
I would prefer something that isn't chocolate though... maybe raisin scones + clotted cream + jams (orange, berries)...
and ya, my office warming has ... .... eh ... ... ... tea of some sort... Ang moh Teh aka Western Tea
