Isn't it harder to have to keep alternating between upper and lower case?
because they want to act cute.. which makes it an exercise in futility...
some are addicted to such exercises

This is actually cute
Well, it's certainly an exercise in futility, because I find it more annoying than cute.
And we're talking about full adults here. Eeeks.
*edit: Talking about typing in alternate case here.

What do you make of the enhanced IPT programme?
I have mixed feelings... 9 months is a long time to commit but genuine improvements can only be made that way. Now you have to do RT if you fail IPPT at the end. What made the original programme attractive was the immunity from RT, but it's sad to see the older NSmen put in the bare minimum during training.
My weight training has made pull-ups and sit-ups a breeze but I'm still weak in the shuttle run and standing broad jump.
I wonder if Fatum saw this... he should hang out with Ah Lau more:
MEN can improve their fertility by eating a banana every three days, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Quoting a Singaporean urologist, the daily reported that the fruit can increase sperm count as it contains high level of magnesium to produce sperm cells.
Taking food like cashew nuts, potato, spaghetti and seafood will also have a similar effect, according to the doctor. He advised men to avoid drinking alcohol, smoking, taking a hot shower or spending time in a sauna as these can affect the production of sperm. -- THE STAR/ANN
oh.. the "kung fu manual" notebooks are blank inside... they're just the outside which makes them hilarious...
small ones sold for $3.90 each but you get 3 for $10
bigger ones, i don't remember...
they're available during the Sunday flea markets at Ghim Moh Market
i was looking for the 如神掌 (Buddha Palm as seen in Kung Fu Hustle) book but they ran out.. i bought 3, the last one i didn't take a pic of was the Wing Chun manual

The impression I got was that you don't really have to pass IPPT at the end of IPT, but you have to show 'significant' progress. And the RT is eight sessions long.
To quote TODAY:
Individual targets will be set for each of the five IPPT stations (2.4km
run, sit-ups, shuttle run, chin-ups and standing broad jump).
The perk for those who sign up [for IPT] is that servicemen who still fail the
IPPT will not have to undergo remedial training - provided they meet or
exceed their individual targets.
And the RT at the end of the 9-month IPT is eight sessions long.
Frankly, I prefer the old system where you just grin and bear with it for eight sessions over 4 or 5 weeks.

The old system makes more sense.
And oh, while I personally love the HD2 so far, its not a phone I can recommend to anyone. Unless you have no objections to putting up with the windows mobile OS and its quirks. It was a real pain setting it up and getting used to. That being said, the bigass screen is gorgeous and the processing hardware is awesome, too bad about the windows OS. And I really wanted to use mobipocket, which is available only for windows, symbian and blackberry phones.
HTC will be releasing the android version of this soon though. You might want to wait.
