Nope, never heard of them. And I thought Duffy was a fictitous brand of beer featured in some animated TV show...
My Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdink CDs get lots of airplay at home. And if I want to listen to something contemporary, I'll throw in a Rick Astley CD.

Maybe you just don't like the way she sounds. It's hard to pinpoint such things sometimes... you either like it or you don't. Aesthetics can be hard to define.

Speaking of encounters from the other side, Iwas jogging around the wharf when I was on duty with another kaki who's also on duty.
Passing by my ship once again......I saw a face peering through the window of the mast. I was shocked. There shouldn't be anybody inside that place. All hands have been accounted for and there's no one else onboard.
I mentioned this to my friend but then we decided to ignore that and went on running. Creepy...

What's with the Welsh surname, one might ask. Anyway I prefer Astrud Gilberto, Laura Fygi and Diana Krall to Norah Jones.

I like them all!
I haven't heard any of Astrud Gilberto's songs, although one of my buddies loves them, and we used to attend jazz concerts in Singapore together. So if she loves Gilberto, I guess I would too.

And the way fuel prices are heading, it's getting harder and harder to convince myself that I actually need a car. Besides, I live in a wonderful suburb that's pretty well-serviced by public transport, by Australian standards.

Sore throat + runny nose.....
Dang.... I was planning to go for a 15km run tomorrow morning to prepare for the Passion Run on Sunday.
I just hope that I can recover in time for the Passion Run.
