OVERRATED.
Too many BORING and UNNECESSARY SCENES DRAGGING in the MOVIE. The WHOLE show is about 2 hours ++. KInda like an attempt to CLOSELY REPRODUCE the OLD VERSION

the movie is great...but the first 30 mins suxs..they were like talking and
talking all the way...i actually yawned and started to close my eyes...den
suddenly they got to the skull island and WALAH! everything is damn exciting
already...and there's 1 part which king kong suddenly slams his hands down
on the ground behind the girl..and i see all the cinema's ppl infront of me jump
in shock...jump until like so high man..

Hmm... Yup... To be fair, it's nice from the trip near island onwards.... The front parts are really SUCKY... People intending to catch it.. I watched the 1933 version.Basically it's Kong fighting off all the other creatures(snake,T-Rex,pter...don't know how to spell,the flying dinosaur)And all the creatures in it are carnivourous which is not the case.And unlike the 2005 remake,Kong is not so garang as to jump when he is a few hundred metres above the ground and grab any of the fighter planes.

the front part really dun give ppl the impression that its a movie on King Kong. I watched King Kong today. I must really give credits to the show. This show weren't like any other junk animal shows. It really portrayed us humans in different angles.
The kind of human-animal bond that is neglected; some animals can really feel or understand what we are thinking, they can connect to us, but unfortunately most of us canÂ’t do likewise. Exploiting them, depriving them of their basic necessities, thatÂ’s all we know well. We step on animals, which donÂ’t think like us, under our feet. To us, it doesnÂ’t really matter which animal is shot dead or killed by human, as long as they post a threat to any of our lives, they MUST die.
ThereÂ’s hardly ever a show which made me cried almost throughout the 3 hour long movie. ItÂ’s hard to describe, all I knew was just feeling totally helpless and agitated when King Kong was about to be shot dead by those stupid planes.
I should blame the script writer for making KING KONG die!! After several thoughts, maybe this should be the ending, as this will pass the message to us more effectively.
King Kong is my idol, if IÂ’m in that girlÂ’s position; I will jeopardize my life and future to save King Kong cos he once risked it all to keep me protected.
King Kong is a good show, should catch it your friends!!! -

Some parts of the movie really drew out certain emotions and and i actually felt quite angry. Angry at the people..the crew..the army(couldnt' help it)
Angry At The character played by Jack Black! He annoyed and angered me..but in a way...he was also just trying to do what he believed in.
Overall, this is one of the better movies.
It has its flaws, but still, an EXCELLENT movie
Worth watching. Definitely!
And Naomi Watts is damn Chio..

there's some questions i have about the movie.
1) how the natives build the fortress? those huge rocks
2) how the natives build the huge drawbridge? the bridge seems almost impossible to build. if u know about pioneering, u'll know y.
3) the part when the natives jump over the sea with a long spar and rope, how he did it?
4) how did they get kong back to NY with their damaged ship?
5) towards the end, ann was following the army to king kong. i was wondering how did ann got to king kong when king kong was chasing jack all over NY. also, how come ann reach kong before the army does and the army was later than ann like 10mins? -
