  ok i have to say steven spielberg is very good too
  i watched alot of his movies
  ESPECIALLY the non dinosaur roaming kind
  
  like Shindler's List
  The Color Purple i suppose is very good too but i havent had a chance to watch it yet.

  i used to hate chinese-language films
  but after watching 2046 & In the Mood for Love, my preference is Wong Kar-Wai

  - Luc Besson
  - Ang Lee

  yeah...quite an old film...saw it yrs ago on HBO.Though I had no idea who the band were till i watched it.
