oh, thanks... i only know where's the outlet... dunno where's the inlet....Originally posted by ninja^cru:first identify where is the fan inlet and outlet of the laptop is.
if it goes in from the bottom and comes out the back, there is this device that will set you back $32, which is the last i saw at SLS.
its sold in one of the shops on the higher floors.
its a base that has 2 built in fans that give it forced cooling.
you might want to give it a try.
the inlet should be at the bottom like most laptops and its circular in shape.Originally posted by coolger03:oh, thanks... i only know where's the outlet... dunno where's the inlet....
the outlet is on the left side.. hmm.... how to see where is the inlet har??
disclaimer.. i'm a total IT idiot... do not vomit blood upon reading my qns...

oh, ok... u think comex will have??Originally posted by the Bear:no brand one.. about $25 i think...
it's basically a flat piece of plastic with fans attached to it, with a few rubber knobs to raise your notebook to get some space so air can circulate...
not too bad but not that good either... but served me well

there are many many means for air to get into the laptop.. look at the keypad area.. not enuf air inlet ducts??
sad to say.. mostly are.. they seldom come wif a special inlet and outlet for air circulation... everything is already too compact inside..Originally posted by ninja^cru:prefer to have one, otherwise keyboard will be dusty also,
not all laptops are designed to have air coming thru little ducts.
i have 3 actually, and they have their own dedicated inlets.Originally posted by DevilAngel77:sad to say.. mostly are.. they seldom come wif a special inlet and outlet for air circulation... everything is already too compact inside..
