it seems my com cant display the chinese text on song names yet can display the chinese words on MSN message windows
same prob with my musicmatch. and another thing is that, when i add songs with chinese names to the list, the playlist doesnt contain the songs when i run musicmatch on the next start up....

1) Access your control panel. 2) Under "regional and language options". 3) Click on the languages tab. 4) Check on "install files for east asian languages". 5) Do the install accordingly to the messages given. 6) If it tells you to reboot, do it.

ur XP should be loaded the east asia fonts.. but did u edit ur songs urself? The songs should be recorded in other music software.. so got a little issue to display correctly the chinese characters..

the chinese song names can only be correctly displayed on my mp3 player when it confirms with me whether to delete the song or not. otherwise when playing the song, it cant display the song name.
when i first copied the songs into my player, it can correctly display the names but after that...cant. i already have the latest firmware for my mp3 player and i reinstalled it but still cannot.

Should be ur mp3 player cannot encode the chinese character.. chinese GB got 2 types..

what happens is that, when i cfm whether to delete the song, it shows the name in chinese correctly. but on the main screen cant show.. hmm

did u label ur songs in chinese in the ID tags? did u use the Creative mediasource organizer to transfer ur files or u juz open ur player as a hard drive and transfer in ur songs?
u seem to hav the same prob as me initially wif the mp3 player but my comp is okay wif displaying chinese characters in Win XP.
