not that i am nice to my lecturer but i mean, i am doing this in my spare time loh. of course, my fyp more impt lah.
i think can add in the cost to assemble the pc lah.

64MB graphics card ( ave 1, but tentative)
HDD use back old 1.

a portable HDD consist of 2 thing. a portable HDD casing that has an USB port and can house a 2.5" HDD that is normally used to laptops.
thus.. unless u r buying together(may be more exp) as a bundle, if not there will be 2 cost lor.. -

u say do in ur free time.. but yet u dun seems to be the kind who know how to assemble a PC.. so i guess u r getting someone else to assemble it.. so wat is ur role in here?

my role here is to help him come up with something( a specs list) because he's more technologically challenged than me. then i need some quotes lah, sort of where to find cheap and reliable parts,watever u call it. then need someone to do the assembly loh. -

now i am formally asking for someone to liase directly with my lecturer.
spoken to him, he's willing to pay for the installation.
so u will speak and discuss with him abt the specs he wants and build it for him. u wont go thru me.
