anyone got ideas of a suitable config for a 24/7 comp?

You really only need a high tech cooling system if you're really going to overclock the chip(the more you overclock, the more heat the chip will generate). -

anyways, juz wondering if any suggestions for components which can tahan de. i got a rather old comp, saving up to get a new one le. -
generally components are designed to left turned on. unless there is poor ventilation, 24/7 should be not a problem.
but the Windoze OS needs a reboot once in a while. Go Linux or Unix if want a true 24/7 operation. -
Make sure the RPM of the engine is running constantly to cut down on electricity. -
I'm running 24/7 with just a fan to cool the processor and HDD, and it works just fine. But its not really a fair judgement since I'm in a temperate climate.

why would human need a 24/7 comp, only a BOT needs it
