plus i gonna get at least 512MB ram from a current 128MB,,,,do i add 2x 256MB to get 640MB ? -

my fren`s mobo got 4
mine got 4 (2 ddr 2 sd)
some other commons one got 3 normally

actually graphics card..i only need a basic 1..can play HL2 and NFSU2 can liao...i dont need a super high end 1...in fact, i want to buy because my current graphics card is 5 years old leh...cant even play NFSU1
i dont need excellent graphics because my eyes not that power...just make sure..the cars can be seen easily,enemies in HL2 can easily be seen etc... i dont need graphics so real my mum;s gonna call the cops thinking i am killing ppl...

Its about framerates too u noe... can see sure can see.. but next frame comes up and u are laying on the ground.. and the oni thing u can see is the pop up box that is asking u "Continue?"

and the 9600Pro definitely falls into that category..
The cards offering a voucher to claim the game is the Xt series.. 9600XT and 9800XT.
u can shop around for the 9600XT if u wan to.. offers slight better perf than the PRO and gets u a voucher for HL2(dunno if its still on tho) for oni a little bit more dough from the PRO version. -

Anyway NFS must play PS2 den song... so on the way to buy graphic card for HL2... go buy another PS2 for NFS... nw gt those ultra slim one... sibei chio... hand itchy to buy... buy 2 ps2 put at home abit siaosiao like tat... anyway since HF also available on XBox, den can also buy Xbox to play HL... Xbox also gt those crystal one... sibei chio also... can buy must buy quickly go and buy... since buy xbox and ps2 liao... go buy another sound system for the PS2 and XBox... tat time went Malaysia seen it... ps2 one nt so chio but Xbox bagus~!~! big big stylo stylo make me wanna buy...

can elaborate on your processor clock speed? and the ratings of your RAM i.e RDRAM? DDR-RAM? as well as the bus speed? 133/266/333/400 MHz
a Sapphire Radeon 9600 seems like a good bet
balance between performance and price... however it is best to get a original built by ati one... because u get to play around with the more stable drivers...
try to avoid Elsa... though the brand is very good... it teetered at the brink of bankruptcy not too long ago... so kinda unsafe IMHO
if you desire the best in performance u can get a radeon x800 when the price falls to a more sane level...
btw what magic cards u selling heh?> juz curious.... i used to play alot of magic cards when i was younger... straight burn decks. ernhamgeddon decks and of course the white weenies
