Fire breaks out at Bukit Panjang Ring Road multi—storey car park
SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at a multi—storey car park at Bukit Panjang Ring Road on Wednesday.
The Civil Defence were alerted to the fire at Block 541A at about 2pm.
One car at the upper deck was damaged, and the car parkÂ’s walls and ceilings were blackened.
No one was injured in the incident, but the carÂ’s driver was sent to the National University Hospital after he complained of giddiness.
The Civil Defence is investigating the cause of the fire. — CNA/so -

Details/Time Fire involved & totally destroyed a Honda Car (SFR1634Z) parked at Deck 5A. Extinguished by SCDF with 1 X 38mm Hoseline from pump & 1X Internal Hosereel. No other vehicle affected. As a result, the wall & ceiling surround the car blackened by smoke. Investigation in progress [14:19:35]...Fire under C1 incendiary caused by naked light [16:20:54]
