Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is convinced New England Sports Ventures can get the club back to the top after meeting John W. Henry.
Principal owner Henry and chairman Thomas Werner addressed the first team squad on Saturday and outlined their plans for the future. With their proven success with the Boston Red Sox, Cole revealed he had been impressed by what was said.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.tv, Cole said: "We're happy that it's all sorted out and the club's got some direction again. I know the fans are happy.
"They seem genuine and they seem like they are doing it through passion. Everything seems great.
"I definitely think they can help us get back up there."
