Torr-ific news: Fernando is back on Merseyside
This is the sight all Liverpool fans wanted to see as Fernando Torres finally returned to training.
The striker's future at Anfield has been doubt all summer but he was back at the club's Melwood training ground on Monday morning.
Torres, who has been on an extended holiday after his World Cup exploits with Spain in South Africa this summer, appeared relaxed as he was gently put through his paces.
The Spaniard is still recovering from a groin injury he sustained in the World Cup final against Holland but it will come as a relief for Kop fans to see him back in training ahead of the new Barclays Premier League season.
It was the first time new Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson had his full squad together with other World Cup finalists, Pepa Reina of Spain and Dutch pair Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel, joining Torres back at Melwood.

Liverpool begin their League campaign on August 15 and Hodgson will be praying there are no late bids for his talisman from rivals Chelsea and Manchester City as he prepares for the visit of Arsenal at Anfield in just under a fortnight's time.
