Liverpool are believed to be in line to sell David Ngog for £6 million to raise funds for their transfers.
The Frenchman has largely been used as a relatively inexperienced backup to fellow forward Fernando Torres, as the Merseyside club have sometimes been found wanting in the attacking third of the pitch following the departure of Robbie Keane in 2009.
Former boss Rafael Benitez used the former Paris Saint-Germain forward sparingly during his reign at Anfield, and The Mirror reports that the squad overhaul under new boss Roy Hodgson could see the 21-year-old leaving the club.
West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United and PSV Eindhoven have in the past been linked with moves for the young hitman.
