Tottenham striker Peter Crouch has welcomed talk of a return to Liverpool.
The Liverpool Daily Post says Reds manager Roy Hodgson is eager to add a target man to his squad and is believed to view Crouch as the ideal candidate.
Hodgson, who has spoken of his desire to bring experienced English players to Liverpool, is a confirmed admirer of the England striker having failed in a bid to bring him to Craven Cottage as Fulham manager last summer.
It is believed the Tottenham Hotspur player would welcome a return to Anfield, where he scored 40 goals in three successful seasons, despite Spurs having secured Champions League football for the next campaign.
do bring him back
he can play a part in set-piece play
yeah bring him back! crouch is one of my fav england player n it's eyesore seeing him playing for shitty sp*rs.
Robo Crouch was one of the players that Ah Ben was right about despite not scoring after playing for 13 successive matches.
He exploded with goals after chipping his 1st goal against Wigan.
Liverpool would welcome more striking option up front.
I guess Ah Roy will generate a un-recognisible Liverpool next month.
Hope Robo can score against Arsenal in the opening match.
if he go
Spurs e fwd will be Defoe and Pavlyuchenko
so go go
