Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is set for a third meeting with club chiefs over their transfer budget.
Inter Milan moved last weekend to get Liverpool's boss as Jose Mourinho's replacement.
Benitez is wary of taking over from the former Chelsea manager, now in charge at Real Madrid, after he has just led the Italians to an incredible Treble.
But with last week's talks with Anfield managing director Christian Purslow not going well, the Reds now fear Benitez could join Inter if he is not convinced Liverpool will avoid another nightmare season like the last.
Benitez, who has also met chairman Martin Broughton, is privately seething at a likely transfer kitty of just £15million.
