Rafa Benitez's Liverpool reign could be nearing an end, following claims in Italy that he will hold talks with one of Inter Milan’s top bosses in Madrid on Wednesday.
The Spaniard has returned to his home city to consider his future, following a second round of negotiations with Anfield chairman Martin Broughton last week, and will meet Inter’s head of technical staff, Marco Branca, according to sources in Milan.
Sportsmail revealed last week that Benitez was Inter’s preferred choice to succeed Jose Mourinho, who will join Real Madrid after Saturday’s Champions League final against Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu.
Their interest was driven by Branca’s admiration for Benitez’s coaching skills, but was in danger of cooling when it emerged that president Massimo Moratti was consulting Mourinho over who should take over.

Mourinho advised that they pursue Louis van Gaal of Bayern or Guus Hiddink, soon to be Turkey coach, but both may be reluctant to leave their current commitments.
Benitez also figures in AC Milan’s thoughts, as they seek a manager after sacking Leonardo.
Hmm RM lost the title race, likely that pellegrini be sacked. Mourinho takes over and Benitez goes Inter. Wow, every part of the jigsaw pieces up quite nicely huh lol.

Gianfranco Zola.....
If they can get Harry, it will be interesting for him to work wonders.
But, he got CL soccer next season so Liverpool have no chance getting him.
I dun think Liverpool can get any one unless they can get some HUGE funds for player buy.
But, that will make Ah Ben stay.
appoint roy hodgeson lar.
Actually they need to get some one to re-built the team and introduce more youth.
It will be medal-less and top three-less for the next three seasons.
But, it will be good for the teamwork and spirit of the team.
Roy is a good choice.
the question to ask is, what if liverpool cannot finish top 4 like this season? then their finances go bankrupt?
Then they will shake hand with man utd in the mid table if they dun sort out their finances.
That is the fact of life in BPL.
No money, No Players, No points.
