Aquilani has been a major disappointment for the Anfield club since his £20 million move from Roma. Injuries and uninspiring form have made it difficult for Reds fans to forget Xabi Alonso, whose departure to Real Madrid created room for the Italian's arrival.
With Liverpool suffering serious financial troubles, reports of a move back to Serie A have grown regarding Aquilani, but the player's agent, Franco Zavaglia, has suggested otherwise.
"I don't think Liverpool will dismantle the team because they are in an economic crisis," Zavaglia told Tuttomercatoweb.
"Plus, Alberto has a five-year deal there. How can people say that he will be sold?"
Aquilani has made just 15 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season.
He is not shown what he can do.
Have to blame the guy who bought him and end up cold storage him.
As for going nowhere, the club is going nowhere at the moment if they play like crap for the second half.

8 starts, 6 assist and 2 goals after he was declared fit. Real fans in liverpool are going crazy about his recent performances while you're still singing the same song since last year. Time to update yourself a bit?
Agreed.
Only crazy fan like you would track his medicore performance and blowing trumpet over it.
Sorry, I am not as crazy as you.
He has 23 Appearance(8 starts) , 6 assists and 2 goal.
I thought Aquilani is looking better with each game. His passing has been excellent, and he seems to have good game intelligence.
I hope he stays, even with Benitez looking set to leave.
